NUS Indoor Archery Championships 2011
The NUS Indoor Archery Championships 2010 will be held on the 4th and 5th of June 2010. This year's indoor archery championships will again comprise of two challenges, the NUS Indoor Archery Challenge and the Institutional Challenge.
The "NUS Challenge" event will be open to ALL clubs. The "Institutional Challenge" will be restricted to clubs representing various educational institutions. Each event will have various rounds of competition thus catering for both compound and recurve archers of different proficiency levels.
For both competitions, the archers will shoot a common ranking round on the 4th day and 5th morning. The ranking rounds are as follows:
Recurve Novice Ranking Rounds
- 2 Rounds on the 40 cm face target
- 10 Ends each round
- Time limit of 2 minutes per End.
- 3 Arrows per End
- Restriction: No Current National Team and National Youth Team archers are allowed to take part events shooting these rounds.
Recurve Intermediate Ranking Rounds
- 2 Rounds on the 40cm Triple-face target
- 10 Ends each round
- Time limit of 2 minutes per End.
- 3 Arrows per End
- Restriction: No Current National Team and National Youth Team archers are allowed to take part events shooting these rounds.
- Recurve Open Ranking Rounds
- 2 Rounds on the 40cm Triple-face target
- 10 Ends each round
- Time limit of 2 minutes per End.
- 3 Arrows per End
- No Restrictions.
- Compound Open
- 2 Rounds on the 40cm Triple-face target
- 10 Ends each round
- Time limit of 2 minutes per End.
- 3 Arrows per End
- No Restrictions.
The "NUS Challenge" is open to all clubs and institutions. It shall have the following categories open for both genders:
- Recurve Novice
- Recurve Intermediate
- Recurve Open
- Compound Open
The "Institutional Challenge" is open to local ITE, Polytechnic, and University teams ONLY. The following categories are open for both genders:
- Recurve Novice
- Recurve Intermediate
- Recurve Open
