As one of the oldest sports still practiced today, archery combines physical strength and mental agility, producing a time for focus and meditation, expectation and satisfaction. Each well executed shot is an encapsulation of concentration, dexterity and grace.
Here at NUS Archery, we share the common goal of striving for sporting excellence and our continuous commitment to promote the sport to people from all walks of life.
Besides organizing respectable national level archery competition, the NUS Indoors Open, you can be sure to hone your prowess under the mentorship of experienced seniors. We endeavour to strike a balance between training and opportunities for interaction through team-bonding activities given the nature of the sport. Prior shooting experience is not a necessary prerequisite to be in NUS Archery. We cordially invite those who possess the commitment and keen interest to be a part of our vibrant team. Athletes with prior experience in Archery are strongly encouraged and welcomed to join NUS Archery!
With strong alumni ties, you will never lose the sense of belonging or identity that you were once an IVP archer. Once a team, always a team!
